Menheniot Tennis Club is celebrating a very successful 2011.

At the Cornwall Tennis AGM Sally Lobb, coaching assistant at Menheniot Tennis Club was awarded "Cornwall Coach of the Year" for her support of Cornish tennis and for the development of the Menheniot Tennis Club programme.

Sally has assisted Head Coach Stewart Lees in establishing a successful Mini Tennis Programme at the club for over 30 local school children, and in running an adult coaching programme for both beginners and more experienced players. This has led to a doubling of membership numbers and the club is looking forward to building on this success in 2012. Stewart said that without Sally's input this would just not have been possible and he feels that this is a very well deserved award which should put Menheniot firmly on the tennis map.

We wish to inform all that our club nights on a Tuesday and Friday evening will continue through the winter months from 7 pm.

Coaching is also continuing through the winter months on a Wednesday and Thursday evening. Please see Coach's corner for details of coaching sessions.
